Advising on confidentiality, non-compete and golden parachute clauses or addenda or employee benefits and compensation packages.
Assisting with employee handbooks and internal policies (on-call policy, remote work policy etc.).
Drafting and reviewing corporate documents in connection to employment matters.
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Assistance with individual dismissals and collective redundancies.
Advising on restructurings, transfer of employees following mergers and acquisitions.
Handling collective bargaining and trade union matters.
Due diligence analysis to ensure compliance with employment framework and risks analysis.
Assistance during the controls carried out by the relevant authorities.
Assistance before the courts of law.
Advising on establishing reporting channels.
Drafting whistleblowing policy and procedure.
Assisting in resolving complaints received through reporting channels.
Successfully assisting in several disciplinary dismissal procedures. Assisting in a group–wide restructuring project, as well as implementing labour related projects, such as remote work, on-call duty, sign-in bonus etc., at group level.
Assisting in collective negotiations with the company’s union representatives; providing day to day advice on employment and labour health and safety issues, such as granting of benefits, working time, employment termination etc.
Assisting in the restructuring of several of the company’s departments, ensuring that the restructuring plan and termination decisions comply to all pertinent employment laws and regulations.
Assisting with the implementation of the Whistleblowing Policy, incorporating the provisions of the international policy of the group while fulfilling the imperative requirements of the Romanian law.
Assisting with the collective redundancy of all the company’s employees.
