Patricia is a Bachelor of Law from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law, also being a graduate of a Master’s Degree in Business Law. 

She has gained her experience in a law firm connected to a Big 4 in Romania but also in a national reputed law firm, being part of the competition, state aid and EU law departments which are ranked as one of the best in Romania.

Patricia’s main areas of expertise are competition law (anti-trust practices, economic concentration control and state aid) corporate law, consumers protection, intellectual property and EU law. She is a seasoned senior associate, advising a significant number of clients acting in various fields, such as, wood sector, energy, oil and gas production and distribution, retail and FMCG, IT, telecom, pharma, media and entertainment, being involved in many projects in these areas of activity, by providing legal advice to clients on various matters.

Patricia provided her clients with legal assistance in all phases of Competition Council’s investigations, from dawn raids to challenging of the sanctioning decisions in front of the competent courts. She also provided legal assistance in merger notification procedures, transactions due-diligence and state-aid assessments. Patricia assisted her clients also with their compliance proceedings (i.e. review and drafting of contracts, review and drafting internal procedures, analysing business strategies in light if applicable laws etc.).
